This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the charming old town. You can easily explore the historic streets and enjoy the light show in the evening. The view from the balcony is stunning, overlooking the fortress. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, although their English could be improved.

The cleanliness of the surrounding area leaves something to be desired.

I recently stayed at Hotel Lucky in Veliko Tarnovo for a few nights. My purpose was to explore the city and its historical landmarks. I stayed in room number 2, which had an amazing view of the Castel and the valley. The bathroom may not have a bathtub or shower cabin, but the shower pressure was perfect and the heat was always on. Despite the occasional noise from the passing train, I had a comfortable and peaceful stay. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, close to the city center and Tsarevets citadel. The staff were professional, hospitable, and always ready to assist. With its basic amenities, cosy atmosphere, and reasonable price, Hotel Lucky exceeded my expectations.

Our room at Lucky Hotel had a great view of the city and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast selection was basic but fresh, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the town on foot. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location near the fortress, with reserved street parking. Surprisingly, car wasn't towed despite no parking signs. Good view from small terrace, despite noise from busy road and railway. Clean room, although wet room setup was impractical. Breakfast could be more imaginative. 🏰💼🚗🌆🍽️

Our room at Lucky Hotel was amazing! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, like a big LCD TV with cable, AC, and Wi-Fi. The view from the terrace towards the cathedral and the old-time street was just breathtaking. We felt so cozy and at home here.

The only little thing that bothered me was the tiled floors in the room. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

Fantastic check-in experience with helpful staff, great A/C for hot weather, spacious room with balcony and amazing views. Friendly and attentive staff made us feel like friends. Good breakfast.
